Line of Fire
Line of Fire is part of a series of paintngs that I have painted with the intention of blurring the division that is often seen between us and nature. Whenever I see David walking around those fields, I don't see him as being in the field, I see him as being an integral part of it, as if at this very moment, the field and the light couldn't exist without him there. Maybe what I am sensing is his love and his deep sense of belonging toward this place. I was there too and I felt part of it too. I felt lucky, inspired and I wholeheartedly knew I was going to paint it soon.
