This pastel is painted from a photograph I took at Rehoboth Beach Delaware. I'm always happy to see that momentary slice of lime color green in the center of the curling wave before the fall. And to watch it scramble up to the shore. With its tiny thin bubbly foam laying down like delicate lace at the edge of the water.
