This pastel painting is part of an ongoing series called "Azure & Asphalt," in which I bring my interest in unified light and abstract patterns to the urban landscape. The goal: to include enough detail to identify the subject as an urban subject, but not so much that it overpowers the main aesthetic of light and shape.
