In my recent work I am focusing on railroads as a poetic element in the landscape and I am aspiring towards a cinematic flair with dramatic lighting and temperatures. This particular piece is on Rives BFK and was built in thin layers starting with charcoal and Pan Pastel. Various soft pastels were then used to add full color and increase coverage.
