Joanna
This pose and costuming reminded me of The Gilded Age, an HBO series we were watching. Joanna inspires me, she’s such a lovely, professional model. I got excited about using bold colors in her dress, yet I wanted to balance them with her flesh tones and cool background. This 7/8 view is always a challenge for me. Not afraid to try, that way I gain confidence for the next time. PastelMat surface is so wonderful, you can put so many marks and layers on it. Have been alternating that surface with LaCarte, my other favorite.
