My second love to painting is gardening—I never met a flower I didn't love! "Pink Profusion" was painted on LuxArchival, first covering the entire surface with bright red-orange pastel with an alcohol wash, then adding local color using a combination of pastels and pastel pencils to create the sketchy marks throughout this piece.
