Sleepy Fox

I found this picture on pixabay and new I had to paint this adorable fox. I loved the texture of her fur against the texture of the tree trunk. I used mostly Sennelier pastels along with a few Nupastels and Carbothello pencils. I love painting wildlife and I am always watching for birds, fox, squirrels, coyotes in my area but unfortunately I am never able to capture a good picture. I thank pixabay for letting artists use their beautiful photos!
