Pastel on white Pastelmat with a pastel alcohol underpainting. I live on big Glen Lake in Michigan and am inspired by the never ending changes of lake and sky that inspires me every day to try to capture the changing season and weather. We can often see the rain moving towards us from across the lake and I tried to capture the idea of that movement with this piece. Sunshine one minute, a quick rain storm the next.
