A grey horse on grey paper. I wanted to explore a wide range of colors in a very subtle way. The challenge was to capture the lighting. I wanted to create the sense of luminosity - a pearly sheen. It was fun working on his lovely dapples. I purposely added a warm glow on the upper left corner and darkened the right side and lower corner.
