Mr. Beel the Beardie

This is a commissioned portrait of my dear friend's late bearded dragon named Mr. Beel. I had the pleasure of knowing this adorable beardie which made it even more of a pleasure to create. The reference photo was provided with permission by his owner, Ashley Shively,
This took me 30 hours (50 hours including the first attempt) using Pastel pencils on Pastelmat paper. This was my most challenging piece I've done to date.
