Skagit Sunset

My paintings reflect my deep connection to creation and how it speaks to one’s heart and soul. I paint in an impressionistic style to capture the mood of the scene I am reflecting on. Sky and water capture a special interest in their ever changing and colorful moods. I use a mix of bold and blending strokes to capture the essence of the landscape. I enjoy the instant and vibrant color of pastel pigments. A sense of peace is usually evident even if in turbulence.
