This bucolic view is one of many on my walk around my neighborhood in Western MA. Many farmers here use sustainable practices such as allowing fields to go fallow. The winter palette is very inspiring to me. I was able to paint studies en plein air in January 2023 and then created this painting from those studies back in my studio. It is on mounted UART 400.
