The Timekeeper

The Timekeeper is a fictional character made up from composites of facial features. I am drawn to magic realism and the way perception and interpretation reveal different and personal meanings to each of us uniquely.
I begin my compositions with a loose collage that I work out on photoshop. The paintings normal shift from the initial layout as I become involved in materials and layering. I enjoy working on colourfix paper with pan pastels and a variety of pastel sticks and pencils.
