I saw a color mix that reminded me of a sunset and decided to try it in an art project. Being in the Northwest with all of the snow-covered mountains around I thought it would look great to combine the sunset and the mountains as well as evergreen trees. I used soft pastels and textured paper, starting with the sunset colors and working to the foreground.
